With the Michigan Legislature’s business officially concluded for 2012, state Rep. Dale Zorn is among a distinguished group of lawmakers with a perfect voting record.
Official records confirm that Zorn, R-Ida, is among the legislators who did not miss any of the 914 roll call votes taken by the Michigan House during the past year. Zorn, having also posted a perfect voting record for 2011, completed his first term as a lawmaker without missing a single vote.
“It was a busy year in Lansing,” Zorn said. “I take my role as this community’s representative very seriously, and while there was much time spent on legislation and committees, I also maximized my time in the district meeting with constituents and attending events.
“It has been a genuine honor to serve this community for the past two years and I look forward to what’s ahead.”
